I AM FEELING OVERWHELMED AND WOULD LIKE TO HIRE AN ORGANIZER. I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO SEE MY MESS. SHOULD I TIDY UP MY HOUSE BEFORE YOU ARRIVE?
Please don't! I can best help you by seeing how you live and how your rooms function in their present state. I do not come into a client's home to judge, I come in to find solutions and assist in setting up organizing systems that can be maintained.

WHAT IS THE FIRST STEP?
Once you contact me, we will set up a time to speak over the phone. We will then set up an Initial Consultation which takes place at your home and lasts up to an hour. From there, we develop a plan and schedule our first hands on organizing session.

HOW LONG DOES AN ORGANIZING SESSION LAST?
I have a three hour minimum policy for local clients and four hours if I need to travel over an hour. Four hours is an ideal amount of time to really appreciate the results of our session thus helping you to stay motivated and focused on the goals that we have set.  

HOW LONG WILL THE JOB TAKE AND HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
This is probably the most commonly asked question and also the most difficult to answer, because it really depends on you! Are YOU ready and serious about making changes in your life? How quickly can YOU make decisions? Can YOU limit the distractions during our session? Are you available during the week, or can you only work on weekends? Without getting to know how you work and visiting the actual job site, it is difficult to provide a precise answer to this question. My hourly fee will vary according to the scope of the project - please call for more details.

HOW CAN YOU HELP ME DURING A MOVE?
The best time to de-clutter your home is before you move. I can help you pack efficiently and decide what furniture will fit in your new home. Why take the time to pack, and incur the cost of moving things you no longer want or need and remember that an organized and less cluttered home can improve your chances of selling quickly. I also coordinate hauling, shredding and cleaning services, as well as options for donation and selling valuables. After your move, I can then help you unpack and set up your new home the right way, from the beginning!

HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
I have travelled several hours to get to a job. Any distance over an hour from Reisterstown, will incur additional travel fees.

SHOULD I PURCHASE ANY ORGANIZING SUPPLIES BEFOREHAND?
No, other then garbage bags for donation and trash, I will supply everything else needed to get the job done. After the initial sorting and categorizing, I will try and utilize storage items you already have before making suggestions to purchase additional products. In fact, I ask that you limit buying anything new during the organizing process.

HOW CAN YOU HELP ME GET RID OF ITEMS I WANT TO DONATE?
